To make it sound even better, at the end of the string slits, drill a 3/64ths hole straight down through the bridge, top and the underlying bridge plate. Feed the strings down through the holes you just made until you can reach them through the sound hole. Tie a knot in the end you just pulled through pull the UNknotted end back up and attach the the appropriate tuner. There is a noticeable difference in sound sustain, volume and clarity.

I was going to put PEGHEDS on it to decrease head weight, but the holes are 9.5mm. I really didn't feel like turning down a walnut dowel and redrillling the center to 7mm. The possibility still does exist. The Grover buttons lay so close to the side of the headstock, they are not unattractive...just heavy.

I have the OU250 Bell and I can't begin to describe how much I love this ukulele. It's my first real uke (over $100) and it plays beautifully, feels great and sounds amazing. I would definately recommend getting this if you were considering it.
