I ended up with the UP110 just this week and it is awesome for the price. My friends have the 15CM and I really do not know what the difference is aside from the abalone rosette. They are both loud for such small pieces but tend to somehow sound closer to classical guitars more than ukes. But I'm just a beginner so what do I know?

My 10CM came with Aquilas and have so far kept in tune but I only get to use it around an hour per day so far. Hopefully, it lives to its reputation as one of the best beginner ukes out there. I'm excited to learn! Thanks for the review.

Tim, I like your concept, but in the end it still looks like two cases stuck together and not a manufactured double case. If a company produced a case with a single lid and a padded, molded fiberglass insert to separate the instruments (held heel to toe), it would be much slimmer (and lighter). Until then, your case is the only answer for a traveling uke player. Patrick

I just bought this bag and I love it. The concept is great and I intend to use it for my upcoming Boat Paddle uke. However, for travelling purpose I prefer Mono because Mono is less bulky and is waterproof and I believe is safe for nitrocellulose finishes (Jerry from Boat Paddle used to recommend it and he uses nitro finishes). Fusion on the other hand is only water-resistant and not waterproof. You have to buy a separate rain cover to protect it from heavy rains. They also could not provide a firm confirmation on whether the interior is safe for nitro finishes. All they could state was that so far, no one complained about their bags ruining the finishes.
