Events Coming Up

These are 3 things I am trying to make it too
1. Ukulele noir in chicago Saturday June 26 @ 8:30 pm – Saw this a while go on ukulalia.com
2. Bushman Ukulele Luau August 27 – 29 in nashville, IN. I went to one and it was a blast. bought my Jenny there also. if you miss it, there will be more. (I think this is the 3rd this summer)
3. Milwaukee Ukulele Festival September 26. Looks like it will be really great learning and jamming experience. This will be the only big one for the midwest in 2009. The windy city comes back in 2010 (I hope, fingers, toes and eyes crossed)

Was nice to see you at the Milwaukee Uke Fest! The evening concert was well worth the late night – I left with a couple Boulder Acoustic Society CD’s, the strum pattern for Jessica (V. Vox) and all the tires on my car!
The workshops were fun and useful – I had been tinkering away picking out the melody notes for Sunrise Sunset and Kailin Yong’s workshop gave me a boost and inspired me to keep working at it (all day Sunday)
In between I was praticing that strum pattern for Jessica……
Power strums, raggy finger-picking…so much to practice…so little time after work!
I love the blog and I think I found the xmas gift for my husband – one of those cigar box uke kits.
