I just bought the Zebrawood model based on this photo. It looks good and very novel just as you would expect in a soprano Uke. You can’t be too serious with a soprano. I hope it sounds good… We’ll see in a few days.
I just received a Zebra Wood Fishuku. Looks real nice
the action is to high, any placement in the neck puts
it out of tune. Gonna see if it can be adjusted.
My girlfreind bought me an Fishuku Ebony Concert from a gift shop in Boothbay Harbor in Maine, USA. I’m having a luthier adjust the action down (from the saddle)- it’s a little high.
The fretted 12th note(s) were slightly flat so bringing the saddle down should automatically help. Also, the luthiers aware (of course) of all the physics, so I’m hoping it will be done properly. I’m looking forward to playing it when it’s done.
Except for the action height, I really love the uke.

I guess I should have said- I am playing Irish and Classical pieces using the Campanella style- it’s real nice.
