Some of My Favorite Poems

By Matt Strawn
I’m a Ukulele Idol
Hoping for some Grammy awards
The only problem is
I only know three chords

By Narciso Lobo
There once was a dude named Tim Szerlong
Whose uke was as big as a furlong
Whenever he’d play
He’d explain it this way
It was a custom soprano for King Kong

By Narelle Gilmore
There once was a girl from Nantucket,
Who carried her uke in a bucket,
She knew her mate Rambo,
Would rather hear banjo
And when asked how she’d play she said “Pluck it”
